Dock is a template that allows you to create a desktop or a folder in which you will be able to insert several app icons that allow you to open directly an application or an embed page.
Dock is composed of a wallpaper and a sidebar concentrating the different nodes of the apps which are all composed of :
- A Popover node with :
- A Image node which represents the app icon on the screen
- A section node composed of :
- a WebView node that opens the app on a window
- a Text node which allows you to give a title to the opened window
How to add an element ?
- Duplicate one of the existing Popover nodes
- Rename it, for example Maps
To change the icon :
- click on the Image node which is called "Icon
- click on the box in front of Source, and delete the pre-existing URL.
- From your browser, find an image/logo and copy its URL. Paste it in place of the old URL.
To change the title of the window:
- Click on the Section Header node, then click on the Text node.
- Delete the current value and replace it with the title of your choice.
To change the window:
- Click the Web View node.
- In the right inspector, delete the current URL and replace it with the desired embed URL. For example on Maps, click on Share, then Embed Map, and copy the URL that is between the quotes.
